Air brush tan systems like the one pictured above are used by a technician to "paint" or spray a customer with a DHA laced product which interacts with your dead layer of skin to turn it brown.  This is a healthy alternative to tanning beds and you can still gain the look of "color" in your skin without the harmful effects of uv light of some tanning beds.

This sunless tan spray on system consists of everything you see above including the air compressor, spray nozzle, three small bottles to hold three shades of color.  The color of the spray on lotion is only important for the technician to see where they have applied the solution.

  You should be sure to use a lab coat, hair nets, face masks, and have a well ventilated space with exhaust fan in place for the overspray which will be overwhelming before the end of the session.  You may also choose to use a spray tan booth like the one pictured below:
